Richard Neville, Partner, recently led the OFX team advising the Kilkenny Group in its acquisition of Kilkenny Design Centre Limited. Jerome Maume dealt with the general transaction and corporate matters. The property aspects of the deal were dealt with by Eimear Coughlan of our Commercial Property department. About the transaction:

Kilkenny Group, acquired Kilkenny Design Centre Ltd which operates a retail store, food hall, the “Anocht” restaurant and craft workshops in a historic premises, originally the stable complex of Kilkenny Castle. Kilkenny Group operates more than 13 retail outlets, two restaurants and an online retail business which promotes Irish craft and design. The transaction re-united the Kilkenny Design shop sold by the State in the 1980s, with the Dublin shop owned by the Kilkenny Group.
